Moritz studied 'Music Technology and Production' (BA) and 'Composition in Context' (MA) at the Utrecht School of the Arts (The Nehterlands) and 'Composition for Screen' (Master of Music) at the Royal College of Music, London. He composed his first feature film score to 'Too Close To The Truth' (aka '31 North 62 East'), directed by Tristan Loraine in Spring 2009. In July 2009 he created an electronic-atmospheric score to the Dutch TV film 'The Other' (directed by Rolf van Eijk). He received the 2nd prize at the Berlinale Talent Campus Score Competition 2009 and was nominated five times for the European Talent Award at the Soundtrack Cologne Conference. His commercial scores include spots for MTV, Adidas, Campina and Volkswagen.
