Lennert recently graduated from the National Film and Television School in the United Kingdom. He finished a two year Master course in 'Composing for Film and Television'. Having this experience with working with the best talent of the UK, Lennert is pursuing his career now as a film composer in London.
Before going to the NFTS Lennert graduated with honors in Music Technology with the speciality 'Composition and Music Production' at the Utrecht School of Arts in The Netherlands. And he worked on several films as an assistant for the renowned Dutch film composer Paul M. van Brugge.
In 2011 Lennert won the 'The Leo' award at the Braunschweig Film Festival for his score for The Origin of Creatures which also was the official Dutch entry for the Academy Awards in 2011. In 2008 he was nominated for the European Talent Award at the Soundtrack Cologne Conference and won the award for best score at the Dutch Film Festival 48 hour competition.
Recent work are commisions for Channel 4, BBC2, BBC Radio 4 and Al Jazeera. In 2011 Lennert also composed the music for the multi-award winning and now BAFTA nominated short animation Abuelas. IMDb Lennert Busch
